 urrently my position is Teacher on Special Assignment for Technology.
I work with teachers and students in the schools to help integrate
the available technology into the curriculum and instruction.
Specifically I work with the Internet connected classroom educational software
programs, infusion of the Internet into lessons, and staff use of the
computers as an organizational tool.
My interest in technology began with my experience as a teacher. I taught in special education for 15 years. Ever since the Apple II-E era, I have considered computer technology a highly effective educational tool. Children with learning disabilities seem to flourish when given the opportunity to succeed while receiving the amount of instruction they need. Computers are a wonderful tool to accomplish this. |
