year really made me think of all the possibilities, which has made me become
a true student again. I have taken a class from the University of Missouri,
Columbia, on Digital Media. I learned Hyperstudio, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere,
and Director. I also participated in a grant to obtain some HyperStudio
software, and I am now in the process of teaching this to my fourth graders
so they can teach it to our pen pals in second grade. Next semester, my
class and I are going to work on a project with a sports journalism student
from the University of Missouri. My class will put together an interactive
Web page in which they will interview local sport personalities from the
university or even their own sports teams and have those responses online.
It is a very exciting time to be in education if you think of the possibilities.
