Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry: I don't understand history, help me!

Subject: Social Sciences and Language Arts
Grade Level: Middle/High School
Comments: This Track challenges students to attempt to experience history. Students are asked to put themselves in the shoes of someone else and to express their views from their new vantage position. For assessment the creator of the Track suggests that teachers allow students to express what they have learned in writing. This is a great way to study history.
